I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Dar Salam Palm. The location was perfect for exploring the vibrant souks and iconic landmarks of Marrakesh. though the shower could have been better positioned. Fayssal, the manager, was incredibly welcoming, providing helpful tips and friendly service throughout my visit.

I had a great overall experience at the Dar Salam Palm, characterized by warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, my room was quite small and some amenities, like the hot water, were inconsistent. The dining experience could use some improvement due to limited choice and the need for early dining to secure a table, but the food was delicious. Fayssal, the manager, was a standout, offering very nice service.

My room was clean and comfy, but quite small and basic. I often found it challenging to change clothes without bumping into things.

The riad is perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, making it easy to access nearby attractions like the main square and gardens.
Dining

While the food was delicious, the dining setup was not ideal as there was limited seating, which meant waiting for a table even with included meals.
Facilities

The facilities were decent, though I felt there could be more common areas for relaxation, and breakfast service timings were a bit inconsistent.

My stay at Dar Salam Palm was a blend of authentic charm and warm hospitality. The location in the bustling alleys of Marrakesh was fantastic, providing a true taste of local life. However, the dining setup left something to be desired, with limited seating and dining options. Fayssal, the manager, was an absolute highlight, ensuring a welcoming experience despite some challenges.

My room was comfortable and clean, reflecting traditional Moroccan decor. However, it did feel a bit cold at night, and the bathroom was quite small and basic. I appreciated the blankets provided, which made it more comfortable.
Service

Fayssal was a gem. He was incredibly helpful and offered valuable tips throughout my stay. The overall staff was friendly, but the language barrier with others did pose some challenges.
Location

The riad is situated just a 20-minute walk from the main square. Being in the heart of the Medina allowed me to explore the vibrant local culture easily.
Dining
5.0
While the food was delicious and made with quality ingredients, the dining area felt a bit cramped. With only a few tables and no menu choice, it sometimes led to long waits for meals, especially at night.
Facilities

The riad offered a cozy courtyard and a nice rooftop terrace for breakfast. However, there were limited options for relaxation spaces, as it felt like a family home more than a full-service hotel.

I had an authentic experience at Dar Salam Palm, which is ideally located in the heart of Marrakech, making it convenient for exploring. The staff, especially Fayssal, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, which enhanced my stay. However, I did face some inconveniences, like the dining setup and occasional noise from the street. Overall, it was a lovely experience, complemented by the great atmosphere and charming decor.

Rooms

The room was comfortable and clean, with thick blankets for the chilly nights. However, it was a bit small and dark, making daytime relaxation difficult.
Service

Fayssal was truly the star, offering helpful advice and friendly service. I appreciated his attentiveness but felt more English-speaking staff were needed to lighten his load.
Location
9.0
Perfectly located in the center of the city, I was just a short walk away from the main attractions and souks, which made exploring very easy.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a bit disappointing due to limited seating under cover and only one main dish served each night. Having more options would have made meals more enjoyable.
Facilities

The facilities included good WiFi and nice breakfast offerings, but I wished for more diversity in menu choices and dining timings.

My stay was quite mixed. While the location in the Medina was utterly charming and the manager Fayssal was very welcoming, the lack of adequate dining space and comfort in the rooms left much to be desired. The noisy surroundings at night and the cold temperatures made it difficult to fully enjoy my experience. ☹️

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but cold at night, and the bathroom was quite small. The overall comfort was lacking, especially with a hard bed. I expected more for the price paid.
Service
7.0
Fayssal, the riad manager, was really good and provided great tips for exploring Marrakesh. However, there could have been better communication with other staff members who didn't speak English.
Location
8.0
The riad is perfectly located in the bustling Medina, making it convenient to explore the city. It's also close to public transport, which is a plus.
Dining
5.0
The dining setup was quite frustrating, with limited tables for guests and only one main course option. Breakfast was often delayed, which was disappointing since it was included.
Facilities

While the riad offers various services like laundry and airport shuttles, the overall facilities felt dated and could use some updates.
